Lack of Tradeshows and Conventions Hits Las Vegas Where it Hurts

The strip is pretty much empty… It’s easy to see that Vegas really missed CES, the Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show! Oh and there’s a whole bunch more!

Can you imagine how much money Las Vegas is losing every day? Reports say the convention industry generated 11 billion in 2019!

January usually is one of the city’s main convention months. But was absolutely nothing!

A tobacco and vaping show is set to take place in May. A month later, the Las Vegas Convention Center will feature the World of Concrete, one of the leading trade shows in Clark County.

Do show organizers expect we’ll have cleared the enduring hurdles of COVID-19 by then? Or are these dates hopeful thinking?
