Orange County Convention Center hiring as trade show business bounces back

The Orange County Convention Center reassigned more than half its workforce earlier this year as leaders were forced to make nearly $17 million in budget cuts. However, things are beginning to look up.

In February, the county temporarily reassigned roughly 190 employees from the Orange County Convention Center to avoid potential furloughs or layoffs. Now, as the convention business bounces back, the convention center is looking to bring back those employees.
